Bags on Their Way to me!

Hello all! Just wanted to update you all that the backpacks are now being shipped overseas to me from my manufacturer. They are on-track (assuming no delays in shipping) to arrive to me  early January. As soon as they arrive I will be quality-checking, packing, and shipping ASAP!

Bags in Production! || PHOTOS: Wallets & Bags! || Changes Completed

Hello all and happy October! I'm bringing you an update and touching base to keep you all in the know.

The Backpacks

All of the improvements have been made to the bag samples and all bags are currently in mass-production! They should be done sometime in December, then will take about a month to ship to me over sea! Some of the changes include:

Longer straps:

The PU leather portion of the straps, as well as the fabric portions have been made a few inches longer. In the original prototypes I felt that the straps were too short and wanted some more room for adjustment!

The Fabric Material:

As you can see, the fabric portion of the straps is shiny! This is a stronger material that should last much much longer than the original material used for the prototypes, which was thin and flimsy. The manufacturer was able to color-match the new straps with each bag as well. Overall I'm really happy with this change!

Larger Water Bottle Slot:

The pouch for holding water bottles was expanded and can now hold a normal sized water bottle or reuseable bottle! I felt that it was a bit tight before, so it should be better now. I'm happy with the looks of it from the photos and videos I've been sent. 

The Wallets

All of the wallets are finishing up their production and will be shipped out at the end of this month! They should arrive to me sometime in November. I'm really happy with the embroidery on the front, and how everything looks overall! :)

The Pins & Keychains

All of the pins and keychains are now with me! I'm slowly going through them and grading (there are a LOT of them haha). I'm going to be working on a backing card for the pins soon!

Deer Backpacks

The re-order of the deer backpacks has just completed production! They'll be shipping out along with these other backpacks, so I will keep you updated!

Thank you all for your patience with this project. This is my largest project yet and I'm doing my best to make sure everything comes out really well! I know that the original dates of production were pushed a bit later, but like I said I really appreciate all of your support and patience this year. I'll bring more updates when I have them! :)

Hello friends! Today I'm coming to you with photos from my manufacturer of the pins & keychains from the project! The only one I don't have a photo of yet is the constellation bunny, but when I get one I will definitely show you all. :)

Sorry in advance if the lighting in the photos isn't the best, colors should look more vibrant in person. I will take better pictures once they arrive to me!

I'm Back! || Photos of Wallets || Backpack Delay || Card Charges

Hello all! I have recently returned from my honeymoon and am all set up in my new apartment/office! Thank you for all your patience throughout the month of August. I've gotten some questions regarding the project and am here to provide updates for you all:

Charging Cards: 9/6/21

As I mentioned earlier, card charges will occur this month. On Monday, September 6th, I will be processing charges. If you made a pre-order through BackerKit (not through Kickstarter), and were already charged, you will not be double-charged. Please make sure the necessary funds are located within your account prior to 9/6. If you have any issues please contact me at [email protected].

Backpack Delay

The order for the backpacks was placed right before I left for my vacation in August. However, the manufacturer had a few questions/things to smooth out that they sent me while I was away, and therefore the mass-production wasn't able to begin. Now that I am back and set up in my office, I am in the process of finalizing those last for details.

Additionally, the manufacturer quoted me a longer production time than what was originally discussed. They estimate a 2-month production period, and a 1-month shipping time. I anticipate that this will make it so that the bags arrive somewhere in December-January. Soon after arrival I will be grading, packing, and shipping them to get them to you ASAP!

Super sorry for the delay. I haven't had delays like this with any of my prior projects so I feel bad about it, but it's out of my control! November was my original estimate, but with the crazy way this summer has gone for me Dec-Jan is the earliest I can estimate for now! Thank you so much for your patience!! ♥

Wallet Update

While I was away, the physical sample for the wallet arrived to me! I couldn't be happier with it's quality!

All of the details are exactly how I planned them to be. The embroidery on the front is perfect, as well as all of the other details. I am excited to show some photos below:

Due to the sample being approved by me, the order will be put in for mass production of these ASAP. Production time for the wallets is estimated ~1 month, and then some shipping time. 

Enamel Pins and Keychains

Both the enamel pins and keychains have been in production for a few weeks. I will be posting an update with photos as soon as I get some pictures of them!

I really do thank you guys for your patience this month! Things have been SUPER hectic for me, but with the wedding over/me being fully moved into my new place, my life is getting back to normal.
